Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm getting the pig!

Today definitely feels like a Monday, Lee.

Rush assignment handed to me this morning. Very simple. Do one thing to column A and another to column B.

Guess what I did?

Aaaand I'm going back to fix column B now.

amych, sorry to hear about the passing of Tucker.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

There are pictures of me at elementary school birthday parties where I'm a head shorter than girls my age where we wound up the same height by 8th grade

And I'm the exact opposite. I was a head taller than girls my age in elementary school. But by 8th grade? Most were taller than me. I peaked at 5'3" in 7th grade and haven't grown (taller) since.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I was still average height when I was in 7th grade. I had my huge growth spurt in 8th and 9th grade.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Sorry about Tucker, amych. I still miss my two big goofy dogs.

I was 5'6" and taller than everyone in the sixth grade. That was where I stopped, however. I was probably 20 before I really realized I wasn't tall.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

K-Bug's boyfriend is 6"3" - I'm going to have to ask his mom if he was a tall toddler.

Both my kids are destined to be on the shorter side. Oh well. CJ is still fairly short for his age, though the height charts peg him in the 50 percentile - I just don't see it when I look at him compared to his classmates.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Deena, I'm sure you're gone now, but are you okay? Things didn't sound so good when you posted earlier. Not bad, just maybe not as good as they could be. ~Ma to you, apply as needed.

I was feeling a little overwhelmed. I have too much work to do. Much of it did not get done. Now I'm worse. Kara spit a sippy cup's worth of apple juice INTO the DVR while I was trying to kill the work that won't die. The DVR doesn't work now. It won't even boot up. I thought it was just on top at first, wiped it up, tilted it forward, and a goodly portion of apple juice ran out on my foot. She's upstairs... I was afraid I'd kill her if she stayed anywhere near me.

Dear god why did I think I wanted to be a parent?

I'm getting the pig!

Oh, Deena. That's terrible. I wish there was something I could do.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Aw, Deena. Kara reminds so MUCH of my brother, who by his 5th birthday had (and this was after being a colicky baby who cried all the time), eaten laundry detergent, run away from home, taken apart my dad's electric shaver, the toaster and a radio, stuck his tongue in an outlet, stripped wallpaper off walls, poured water into the TV, pulled up half my Mom's garden before she woke up one morning, and set the hall carpet on fire.

He's a very nice adult, but it was touch and go as to whether he would make it past childhood.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift
