Inara: I think she looks adorable. Mal: Yeah, but I never said it.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Timelies. I slept in very late because Greg got up with the small fry. So nice. In a little bit we're going to go to the store and pick up stuff for Aidan's birthday celebration, which we're going to have at Grandpa's house this time. I've decided I'm going to make him a strawberry shortcake for his birthday cake. He likes fruit more than anything, so I think it will make him happy, and it's easier than trying to decorate a cake to look like Maisy.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Deena, pleasing the birthday boy is most important. Also, I missed my chance yesterday, so Happy Birthday Plus One Day! to Aidan.

Cute. I got another comment on the Drabble I Hate. Life is making me question my instincts there. Maybe I should write everything all half-awake and naked(metaphorically naked)

Thanks, Beverly. We've been telling him happy birthday and he just blinks at us like we've suddenly started talking a foreign language and then goes back to playing with his toys.

Our wings are not tired.

Happy belated birthday to Aidan. Strawberry shortcake is a birthday favorite in my family. Yum! (Also looks prettier than the rat cake being discussed in Natter.)

Ew, yeah... and Maisy is a rat too. Well, supposed to be a mouse, but she's huge, and her tail is hairless. I think she's just got good PR. Some sort of weird serendipty thing going on.

Erika, which drabble was that?

The latest, for Sitting and Standing...hate may be a bit strong, but I definitely had no real feeling for it. My friend's murder was better, imo, but people can't stop telling me how great this thing is.

Oh, well... I really liked it too, but I won't tell you that if it bothers you.

No! What bothers me is the urge I have to argue with them about it. And also, maybe I'm wrong about my writing all the time and maybe I should write in my underwear more often. And why is my brain so strange? What was it getting at by having me remember that right then?

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Aw, it's (the day after) Aidan's b-day! Happiest of b-days to the little cutie.
