Zoe: First rule of battle, little one. Don't ever let 'em know where you are. Mal: Whoo-hoo! I'm right here! I'm right here! You want some of me? Yeah, you do! Come on! Come on! Aaah! Whoo-hoo! Zoe: Of course, there are other schools of thought...

Oh, well... I really liked it too, but I won't tell you that if it bothers you.

Always Anti-fascist!

No! What bothers me is the urge I have to argue with them about it. And also, maybe I'm wrong about my writing all the time and maybe I should write in my underwear more often. And why is my brain so strange? What was it getting at by having me remember that right then?

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Aw, it's (the day after) Aidan's b-day! Happiest of b-days to the little cutie.

Erika, I have never read anything you've written that I would consider bad, or even average. It's all good, so it's not surprising to me that this one is good, even if it's not what you feel most comfortable writing.

Thanks, GC. I have to scat now. Time to get some stuff accomplished.

I forgot to wish Aidan happy birthday. Happy birthday! Strawberry shortcake sounds like a good choice. Take pictures and label them "Blooood."

Our wings are not tired.

Ah, I was without knowledge of Maisy. Clearly more edible than the previously mentioned vermin. Enjoy!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Yes, Happy Birthday to Aidan. Strawberry shortcake sounds yummy.

I just went to look at yet another apartment. This one, I like. It's in a neighborhood that's kind of eh (not dangerous or anything, just kind of boring), but there's easy access from there to more interesting places, and a really quick commute to school. The apartment itself is small but cute, and I can see a few ways to arrange the furniture to maximize the space. It's also well within my price range. I was the first one at the open house, and I filled out the application form there, so I hope I'll get it.

Good luck, Hil! Is this one in Rosslyn? At least you can easily get to school and Courthouse and such from there--there's some good stuff up Wilson Blvd.

Though I admit, this morning I was loving how close I am to A-M, walked over for brunch with a friend.

It's lovely weather out today! But I tried to go out on my balcony and was reminded how living in the city is just filthy. I used half a roll of paper towels and a lot of windex, trying to get just a little bit of it clean. What I really need is a hose. Just becuase there's so much dust/dirt that settles on the window sill and stuff. BLECH.

Yeah. I kind of wanted to be closer to stuff, but it's a good apartment at a good price, and I've been realizing that I'm just not going to find someplace that's got everything I want, at least not for what I can reasonably afford to pay.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Strawberry shortcake is a wonderful idea for Aidan's birthday cake.

Maisy is Owen's favorite, too. I think it's the large, simple blocks of bright colors that make her so attractive to him. Her friend Charley freaks me out, though. He's not quite right.
