No. That would cause even MORE problems.

All is well that ends in pizza.

When did the Frosted Flakes box switch from "Sugar Frosted Flakes" to "Frosted Flakes of Corn." I've seen the "Sugar Frosted Flakes" box in old ads, but it's been "Frosted Flakes of Corn" for as long as I can remember. I wonder when that switched, and why.)

In the 80's. A healthy name craze shook the industry.

Sugar Frosted Flakes became Frosted Flakes

Sugar Smacks became Honey Smacks, then Smacks Sugar Crisp, became Super Sugar Crisp in the last gasp before being reduced to Honey Crisp, and finally Golden Crisp. (Sugar Bear was renamed Honey Bear in that one)

Similarly Sugar Pops, became Sugar Corn Pops just before the purge and being renamed Corn Pops

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I just got payment for a resume I did this week, so I did the PayPal transfer request and entered the amounts in my income/expense and checking account spreadsheets. I decided to compare my income to where I was last year.

It took me till the end of July 2004 to make what I've already made this year. And that's not counting the check my dance company client assures me I'll get early next week. Include that and we're into mid-August.

Granted, last year I started in February and then didn't work again from the time I got put on bedrest until June. But still, it feels like a good sign, especially since I haven't even started a marketing push yet.

That's great, Susan! I know how much you've been pushing and it must feel so good to see it paying off.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Patel shot.

It's so true, cause that's totally the type of picture my dad loves to take.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Although, I've seen Frosted Flakes and a few other sugary cereals with 1/3 less sugar -- is that replaced with anything, or just less? Although, considering the amount of sugar that's in Frosted Flakes to begin with, the 1/3 less would still have a ton.

Frosted Flakes with less sugar have no replacement sweetener. There's one more that's like that, too. A bunch of the lower sugar ones are sugar + Splenda, however.

Signed, has been eating a fair 'mount of cereal for several months.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Like drinks--if they could make one with some flavor, but not tons of nutrasweet or splenda.

This would be the place for my Tab rant. Old Tab was less sweet. When they switched to aspartame in Tab, they racheted up the sweetness, so that it was just an slight variant from Diet Coke. There seems to be a frequent impulse to make artificially sweetened things taste more sweet than their sugared counterparts.

My current pet peeve with cereal is that plain bite-size shredded wheat, which is one of the healthiest cereals there is, is always stuck at the bottom while they're always promoting the sugar honey brown sugar versions.
