And the thing is, I like my evil like I like my men: evil. You know, straight up, black hat, tied to the train tracks, soon my electro-ray will destroy metropolis BAD.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Although, I've seen Frosted Flakes and a few other sugary cereals with 1/3 less sugar -- is that replaced with anything, or just less? Although, considering the amount of sugar that's in Frosted Flakes to begin with, the 1/3 less would still have a ton.

Frosted Flakes with less sugar have no replacement sweetener. There's one more that's like that, too. A bunch of the lower sugar ones are sugar + Splenda, however.

Signed, has been eating a fair 'mount of cereal for several months.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Like drinks--if they could make one with some flavor, but not tons of nutrasweet or splenda.

This would be the place for my Tab rant. Old Tab was less sweet. When they switched to aspartame in Tab, they racheted up the sweetness, so that it was just an slight variant from Diet Coke. There seems to be a frequent impulse to make artificially sweetened things taste more sweet than their sugared counterparts.

My current pet peeve with cereal is that plain bite-size shredded wheat, which is one of the healthiest cereals there is, is always stuck at the bottom while they're always promoting the sugar honey brown sugar versions.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

At least Splenda is basically sugar. Aspartame is gnasty stuff. Then again, I hit my too-sweet button pretty quickly (as in most milk chocolates are too sweet for me), so can't necessarily be trusted.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

The first girl I ever fell in love with just told me she's engaged, and my first reaction was "Oh! How cool. Congrats." Instead of the sound of my heart shattering into a thousand pieces like they always say it is. Go me. Being over people rocks.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Hi-fives to P-C.

Thanks, Lilty. I mean, I guess it helps that it was totally unrequited and we were never anything more than friends. But still. It sure was a Big Deal for a while.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

The reason I wanted an ice cream maker - because I Know I can reduce the sugar after a little experimentation , without resorting to artifical sweetners. I am glad splenda exsists -- but the minute I found out I had diabetes, I started scurtinizing the sweetners in things - and found it was easy to ratch up the flavor ( ginger, cinnamon, clove, cardamon, citrus rind) so that the sugar wasn't missed. If I have fresh berries - I don't need syrup for pancakes. and If I do use syrup - pure maple - more flavor.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Splenda still tastes like slick ass to me. Basically sugar, but not sugar enough. I'd rather something oversugared than at all Splendaed. It's an instant headache.
