Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

VW--it's fantastic that you've found a med that works and that therapy is really working for you.

I had a med break through at my shrink's office yesterday -- I've had a hard time falling asleep and I upped my Seroquel to the max dose I'm allowed trying to get drowsy and nothing. I also mention (like I thought I had in several past appts) that I'm taking my full dose of Lamictal at night. Shrink says "Lamictal can make people stay awake, try taking it in the morning." So last night I skip the Lamictal and I started falling asleep immediately. Took the Lamictal this morning and I'm bright eyed and bushy tailed -- something that hasn't happened in a while.

((((Cass))))

Nora -- Grandma suffers from dry, itchy skin and she uses a special lotion, I'll get the name of it for you.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

my best bet is usually to apply baby oil while I'm still wet from the shower and then towel dry. But I'm often too lazy to add this extra step.

Try not towel drying -- I put on my robe over my wet and oil, and putter for five minutes or so, and it works really well. I'm lazy too, and even though I love the smell (and feel) of my normal lotions, they take sitting down and applying and I rarely bother.

Nora -- I remembered the name of the lotion. Sarna. Info here [link]

It's expensive but Grandma said a little goes a long way. According to the reviews on that website it's helped people with excema as well.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Mwah! One of my bestest friends from college, who I never ever see, even though she only lives an hour away, will be in NOLA the same time as the F2F. Bizarre and wonderful.

Up with the sun

I'm so sorry people are having bad mornings.

I did not watch SotU. I'm kind of in this weird political fatigue place, where I just feel like putting my hands over my ears and going LALALALALA really loudly. I almost don't want to know what the Bush regime is doing, because it's not like it'll be a)good or b)anything I can do anything whatsoever about, and I just don't have any room for pointless anger left.

So I watched Sex and the City reruns on TBS instead.

Oh, good, askye! I hope it helps!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I almost don't want to know what the Bush regime is doing, because it's not like it'll be a)good or b)anything I can do anything whatsoever about, and I just don't have any room for pointless anger left.

Yes, this is me.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I almost don't want to know what the Bush regime is doing, because it's not like it'll be a)good or b)anything I can do anything whatsoever about, and I just don't have any room for pointless anger left.

Yes, this is me.

Me, too. I just don't have it in me to even listen to the justified anger of other liberals who I know, much less deal with the news. I'm completely exhausted by it.

I watched Alien vs Predator with friends last night, completely blocking out the state of the union.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Lilty is me on the SotU, except I watched Tivoed Gilmore Girl reruns with some of my favorite Luke moments.

Congratulations askye, on the house and the meds! good good news, both.

And also vw on feeling good about this semester. That's so good to read.
