Handsome brooding vampire guy has to swoop in all sensitive mouth and overhanging forehead. How 'bout leaving some scraps for the homely-looking fellows who don't turn evil when they get some?

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Hil, Olssen's is doing a 15 percent off everything in the store sale, should you decide to do a bookstore walk. (Or at least, the Courthouse one is, but it would be weird if it was only one store.)

Oooh. I just got back from walking to Reiter's. I got The Math Gene: How Mathematical Thinking Evolved and Why Numbers are Like Gossip. If I'd seen that before I left, I might have walked the extra few blocks to Olssen's.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I got The Math Gene: How Mathematical Thinking Evolved and Why Numbers are Like Gossip.

Ooh! Those both sound fab.

Always Anti-fascist!

Hey, Trudy!! Anne, happy birthday, bunky. I knew I shouldn't have got this discount body, but maybe being cheap is not all bad, around here, anyway. And everything else I would say would sound like "My book likes carrots." like every other idiot in love. I'll spare y'all.

That's all one title. (Or, well, title and subtitle.)

Up with the sun

The book does sound interesting. I went to Olssen's after lunch, but I didn't buy anything -- I have too many purchased-but-not-read books to add to the pile at the moment, plus I got five CDs yesterday.

It was very hard to keep my wallet in my pocket.

Oh, I see now. Still sounds fab.

hey, Jessica, you're moving? (I think I may have missed something)

Hey, I have that book!

I'm moving! We'll probably get the keys next weekend, and start moving in as soon as we can (since we're still on the same subway line, we can move small stuff easily on our own), and then do a big moving day President's Day weekend when my dad comes up with his Expedition (FINALLY, something that monstrosity on wheels is good for).

Our new place is two blocks from Brooklyn's main restaurant row, so I've been going through TONY's restaurant guide, looking at all the places we'll be able to walk to. It's all very exciting. (Fortunately, we're also within walking distance of my gym, so all the eating out can be worked off.)
