Hey, I have that book!

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm moving! We'll probably get the keys next weekend, and start moving in as soon as we can (since we're still on the same subway line, we can move small stuff easily on our own), and then do a big moving day President's Day weekend when my dad comes up with his Expedition (FINALLY, something that monstrosity on wheels is good for).
Our new place is two blocks from Brooklyn's main restaurant row, so I've been going through TONY's restaurant guide, looking at all the places we'll be able to walk to. It's all very exciting. (Fortunately, we're also within walking distance of my gym, so all the eating out can be worked off.)
I know, I know, 4 hours for just a living room?
WTF? Your living room looks like my bedroom?
My ability to accumulate piles of crap is truly impressive.
I took a nap and woke up wrong. I hate that.
Does anyone know how to make my cat stop shitting on the floor 10 feet away from his litterbox???
I'm at my wit's end. We've tried everything we can think of to make him stop. If he doesn't stop, we may have to start looking for other accommodations for him. I really can't take this.
Have you tried moving the litter box to where he's going now? If he starts using it, you can slowly start moving it back. If not, then he might have an issue with the litter box itself.
We've kept the litterbox clean--and I mean we clean it on a daily basis with fresh litter. And the spot is in the middle of a high traffic hall way. Kind of inconvenient to keep a litter box there. And I don't want to seem like I condone him going in that area.
I've cleaned the area with water & white vinegar and I've sprayed some Boundary chemical stuff I got at the pet store, but I don't know what else to do to discourage him.
Oh, Sail, -ma to the whole family.
Part of my cleaning frenzy was also b/c my mom and stepdad came over this afternoon to deliver a small, very old china/curio cabinet that my brother's fiancee's parents were getting rid of. And I didn't need them to look at my apartment filth with that look that says "Thank God our hepatitis vaccines are current!"
The cabinet is lovely, old medium brown wood with dark inlays. I'm actually using one shelf for my wine glasses and the bottom shelf for -- seriously -- wine bottles. It works really well as a wine cabinet.
Then we went and had dinner at Uno's, which was yummy, and we badmouthed the Bush administration for a while. SA called and left me a message while I was out -- I missed her call by maybe half an hour, dang it.
All I have left to do before she gets here is wash the dishes (of which there are very few -- it's not a Lutheran situation) and go get some groceries, which I'm off to do now.
peace ma to your family Sailaway
