One of the best things about moving is it means I don't have to clean this apartment ever again. Because if something's out of place? Who cares, it's just going in a box anyway!
(On the down side, I most likely will have to clean the new apartment before we move in, especially if we want to paint. But that's not like real cleaning work because it's a new apartment.)
I think I'm going to clean a bit after I get back from the bookstore. I think I'll say my goal is nothing on top of the TV and nothing other than the phone book on the little table by the door. (Currently on the little table is a huge stack of mail, and currently on top of the TV are several videos, DVDs, books, CDs, and the part of the Netflix envelope that doesn't get sent back. Also a few hairclips and bracelets. And this isn't a terribly big TV, so these piles are all rather precarious.)
Hil, Olssen's is doing a 15 percent off everything in the store sale, should you decide to do a bookstore walk. (Or at least, the Courthouse one is, but it would be weird if it was only one store.)
My sister, who is 250 miles away, wants me to figure out why she's not getting her e-mail. sledjf: the result of the head hitting the keyboard.
Well I want to take this body into the shop and get a rental until it is fixed and all better.
I was going to offer to take your body to the, um, "shop" and get it detailed... you know, a good, thorough scrubbing of every nook and cranny. Then the lubrication, carefully oil up every inch, rub it in reaaaalllyyy good. Finally, of course, there is the comprehensive buffing...
But, hey, if you've already gone to bed...

Oooh. I just got back from walking to Reiter's. I got The Math Gene: How Mathematical Thinking Evolved and Why Numbers are Like Gossip. If I'd seen that before I left, I might have walked the extra few blocks to Olssen's.

Ooh! Those both sound fab.
Hey, Trudy!!
Anne, happy birthday, bunky.
I knew I shouldn't have got this discount body, but maybe being cheap is not all bad, around here, anyway.
And everything else I would say would sound like "My book likes carrots." like every other idiot in love. I'll spare y'all.
Ooh! Those both sound fab.
That's all one title. (Or, well, title and subtitle.)
The book does sound interesting. I went to Olssen's after lunch, but I didn't buy anything -- I have too many purchased-but-not-read books to add to the pile at the moment, plus I got five CDs yesterday.
It was very hard to keep my wallet in my pocket.
