Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Kat had a good run this morning with at least a couple of us trying to make underwater helicopter noises at our desks.

If I only had a brain...

I'm left-eye dominant and right-handed. That explains a LOT.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

is convinced that Ginger has webcams set up and is giggling a lot at all of us trying to do the eye thing

It's probably not as bad as the time Hil had us all seeing how flexible we were.

Or the great bondage discussion of ought-three.

I'm right-eye dominant for distance, but I'm sure I'm left-eye dominant for reading, since I can't read with my right eye.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Okay, I think I managed it. I'm right eye dominant and right handed and the left side of my face is the smoother face of the institutionalized for life so I conform to everything.

I'm so damn predictable.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm right handed and right-eye dominant, but I have poor vision in my right eye. This wasn't detected until I was about 11, because I cheated on the eye tests by peeking with my left eye. (Hey, they were tests. I thought you were supposed to do well on tests.) The result was that my brain started rejecting the image from my right eye, leading to my poor depth perception and general tendency to run into things like a pinball ball. On the other hand, I can only listen to a phone with my left ear.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Yay! I'm not clumsy and graceless. I'm cross dominated.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Right-handed and left-eye dominant. But I don't think I'm exceptionally clumsy.

Haven't checked out my face yet. There's only so many things one can do in the office without attracting undue attention.

If you google "eye dominance," you'll see there's considerable debate about the clumsy thing and an interesting study that indicates that people with cross dominance may be better hitters, but worse pitchers.

I'm right handed and right-eye dominant, but I have poor vision in my right eye.

I had this for most of my life, until I had the cataract surgery on the right eye, which left me with the nearsighted left & farsighted right combo I have now.

The first six or so weeks after the surgery my depth perception was totally out of whack, and I injured myself repeatedly. I'm much better now, but still on the clumsy side.
