If you google "eye dominance," you'll see there's considerable debate about the clumsy thing and an interesting study that indicates that people with cross dominance may be better hitters, but worse pitchers.
Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm right handed and right-eye dominant, but I have poor vision in my right eye.
I had this for most of my life, until I had the cataract surgery on the right eye, which left me with the nearsighted left & farsighted right combo I have now.
The first six or so weeks after the surgery my depth perception was totally out of whack, and I injured myself repeatedly. I'm much better now, but still on the clumsy side.
After years of glasses and contacts, my depth perception got better. It never got good, though. That's why I'm the one backing up really slowly while people are yelling "You've got at least three feet back there."
And I'm off. To get the hair colored. The gray has got to go.
Here's hoping I don't trip down the stairs.
Question for the hive mind: anyone used Zicam Swabs? I'm trying to decide if I want to get some and force Pete to use them, because not only does he not need to get sick while in the final two (hellish) weeks of his current deadline, but *I* am not up to coping with him getting sick during a deadline.
I think they work, Jilli. But mostly, I've used lozenges.
Jilli, my Mother swears by blowing a hot hair dryer into your mouth and nose for a few minutes several times a day to ward off an oncoming cold.

raises eyebrows
I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to convince Pete to do that. If I somehow do, I promise to take pictures.
I was having such fun visualizing that I just had to suggest it.
Bastet has figured out how to open the freezer. Yay.
