Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
My boss is sick with the same thing (sounds like) that spanked me over Thanksgiving and Tom over Christmas. I hope I hope I hope we don't get it again.
My boss has been home with this cold/flu all week. I hope she now appreciates my coming in to get the conference done. I mean, I'm not all macho about working sick, and I'm not in that kind of environment either, but it really sucked, and at the time I thought I was miserable yet OK to work (I was past the contagious stage by then anyway). But it made the whole thing draw out for like 6 weeks.
Poor Emmett...we've never met, yet, but I sent him a note once. I'm still taking his fever personally.
Die, germ bastards, die!
I wonder if something was brewing at the con. Hope the baby doesn't get sick!
Yeah, I'm figuring it was the con, since I was already feeling poorly by Sunday night and was in sad shape at work on Monday. I hope that Emeline avoids this ick too. She probably will. Babies are tough.
Okay, need to fling myself into the Humanizor, so that I can make it to my appointment.
Die, germ bastards, die!
Seconded! Leave my Buffistas and Buffista sprog alone. Virtual chicken soup and/or chocolate to all the sick people. I still have a lingering cough from when I was sick at the end of the year. Blah.

I told my brother yesterday that I had been feeling run-down and crappy for the past few weeks, and he enthusiastically recommended that I do a colon cleanse, and proceeded to tell me exactly how much*....stuff....he cleared out of his lower GI tract during his recent colon cleanse, and how much better he feels.
I called him a scary hippie freak and told him to never tell me about his poop again.
*(And by "how much," I mean he gave me an amount by weight. I *so* didn't need to know that. Ever.)
EW!
People tell me stuff like that a lot, though. Over Christmas my whole family talked colons. Was ghastly and non-festive.
HAHAHA! Poop talk notwithstanding, I still want to live in Vermont.
I have been so productive with Life Stuff Today! Work Stuff, NSM though.
But I'm glad to get some of this stuff off my plate.
I may be a scary hippie freak at times, but I always figured my colon didn't need any help doing its job. Alas, I have friends who like to share their enthusiasm about this stuff too. Yuck.
It has always worked for me in the past to down gallons of water and lots of Vit C for a few days to get rid of lingering germs. It has just been so crazy around here that I haven't been dedicated to taking care of myself.
Also sadly, usually at this time of year I have thousands of oranges and grapefruit to eat and juice. The hurricanes stripped all the baby fruit off my trees. I only have one tree with oranges and no grapefruit at all. I had even bought a new canning pot and lots of jars in anticipation of putting up my citrus this year.
Sad about the no-citrus. One of my favorite things about living here...friends have assloads and share.
{{{{Emmett}}}} All the healing vibes westward.
