Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

So far the day is better. I haven't ventured out much past my comfort bubble though. Home to bus to cubicle, and here I stay.

Tom is having awful constant back pain. I tried showing him some floor exercises to stretch the muscles gently, but I don't know if they will work. I was thinking that it might be good for us to maybe do beginners yoga together at home with a DVD a couple times a week.

VW, I would so ditch school to hang out with you.

Oooooooo...even more tempting now! Unfortunately, today is a treatment day. I've got shrinkage, then groupage, then therapyage. Busy, busy day already. Damn. I would totally skip them for you, Kristin, except, well, then I'd be in trouble with three different treatment providers. I'm not sure I'm up for that.

Edit: Nora, that sounds like a good plan. Poor Tom, though.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

PC, last night I downloaded the pictures from this weekend. I'll try to upload them today. There are a few really sweet ones of you with Emeline.

Aw, yay! I can't wait.

And I meet DebetEsse today too!!

Fabulous! She is very cool. You'll like her a lot.

Oh, I forgot to say earlier, go Daniel with those numbers! That's fabulous. You've worked so amazingly hard on your health. You're an inspiration to us all.

I can't even.

I'm off to the doctor's this morning. I picked up a cold over the weekend, which turned into a sinus infection, so the last few days has been fun with hallucinations and abusing ibuprofen. Still, the doc (familiar with my history) will fix me up with a scrip and after another day or so, I should be able to get the body to stand down from the regime of aches, nausea and sweating. I need a rest from all this lying around, it is exhausting.

Oh, poor JohnSweden! Emily's sick too...I wonder if something was brewing at the con. Hope the baby doesn't get sick!

My boss is sick with the same thing (sounds like) that spanked me over Thanksgiving and Tom over Christmas. I hope I hope I hope we don't get it again.

My boss has been home with this cold/flu all week. I hope she now appreciates my coming in to get the conference done. I mean, I'm not all macho about working sick, and I'm not in that kind of environment either, but it really sucked, and at the time I thought I was miserable yet OK to work (I was past the contagious stage by then anyway). But it made the whole thing draw out for like 6 weeks.

Always Anti-fascist!

Poor Emmett...we've never met, yet, but I sent him a note once. I'm still taking his fever personally. Die, germ bastards, die!

Yeah, I'm figuring it was the con, since I was already feeling poorly by Sunday night and was in sad shape at work on Monday. I hope that Emeline avoids this ick too. She probably will. Babies are tough.

Okay, need to fling myself into the Humanizor, so that I can make it to my appointment.

Our wings are not tired.

Die, germ bastards, die!

Seconded! Leave my Buffistas and Buffista sprog alone. Virtual chicken soup and/or chocolate to all the sick people. I still have a lingering cough from when I was sick at the end of the year. Blah.
