Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

I hate to miss church Nonian, and usually because I want to go, but on those days I don't want to go for whatever reason, I feel badly about it, too. Last night, we decided we weren't going to church, regardless of whether or not it was canceled today. Try to remember that everything we go to church for (fellowship, worship, education) can be done in other ways and at other times. Talking to Joe? You only get that when you get it.

So I didn't officially "grow up" in Texas, but I was there since I was seven, so I figure I'm Texan enough.
You mostly grew up in Texas.

Wow, we just got an incredible gust of wind. The room I'm in has windows on three walls, and our house is surrounded by trees. It was a little scary for a moment, there.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I'm nervous about trees falling too.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

All the churches are closed here. The plow dude just came and i had to shovel at least a foot of snow from behind my car to get out. Last I heard we were looking at about 24 inches of snow in my pocket of Maine.

I can't believe I have a snow day!! Of course, it's hugely inconvinient, because I had a huge floorset going on tonight which I'm going to have to reschedule ASAP. I had such a good crew, too. Sigh.

I think you mean, Plow King, Lilty. Unless he has a jacket that says, "plow dude"

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I think you mean, Plow King, Lilty.

Ooh. That sounds like it should be a participle. Plowking. What it could mean? "So me and Lilty, we went out plowking last night, didn't get back till 2. It was pretty wild."

This fellow was no King. I shall think of my Grandpa is the Plow King for always. (Also, he got a new job plowing the Turnpike. He got called in yesterday afternoon, and god knows when he'll get to go home.)

Art Crawl!!!

I think that picture of ED was taken at a very bad angle. I'm not sure anyone would look good in a picture taken at that angle. (Now 100s of you will link to pictures of people looking good at that angle.)

Also -- Trudy and GC -- did you guys see the bit of the GG's where Robin Williams was introducing his kids and he said that one of them was a "Hello Kitty" expert? (Or something like that.)

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I often call Paul a Texan to watch his nose wrinkle.

He was born there (Beaumont/Port Arthur area), and lived there until he was three. He's also the only one in his family without even a hint of a SE Texas accent.

(The majority of the Marcontells in the world are in Texas, as the spelling is a regional variation from when some of them crossed the border between TX and LA and switched religions. However, the ex-Texan Marcontells don't really talk to the Texan Marcontells, on account of the ex-Texan Marcontells being considered ung-dly heathens by certain of the Texan Marcontells. No, I'm not kidding.)

Yeah, but the pictures of her at better angles haven't looked much better.
