Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

It IS the problem! Find the CandyMan stat!

I'm finally fading. I think I'm goin to bed. I hope I wasn't too annoying :)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

You know, he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good.

If "utterly adorable" is "annoying" on the West Coast then, yes, you are EXTREMETLY "annoying".

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Good morning, everyone. I'm jealous of all ya'll and your snow.

My mother emailed me today with a "motherly suggestion" that I should start dating my friend J. J is bi, leaning heavily towards guys right now, not even remotely attracted to me or I to him, a borderline alcoholic, an asshole, and a sarcastic sonuvabitch. I mean, I love him, but no.

I never thought I'd ever get that kind of email from my mom. Ever.

Trust my rage

My mother emailed me today with a "motherly suggestion" that I should start dating my friend J.

Makes you wonder if she would be happy with the result if you two did start dating.

ImeN, I planned to go to church this morning. I woke up early, I showered, I got dressed. Just as I was putting on my boots to leave, Joe called (from Iraq). If he calls, Sunday is one of the few times we get to talk for a long time (today was 30 minutes) but when he calls, it means I miss church. This should be okay, right? I mean, I know it should be fine, but I still feel wrong for not going. I think I feel bad because I really didn't want to go in the first place.

I had to skip. Sorry all. {{{Bitches}}}

We're having a fabulous time here in Michigan. We're having such a fabulous time, as a matter of fact, that we're going to stay an extra day. Ok, actually we're stuck here, and I'm currently on hold with two airlines trying to change our flight reservations. But, hey! Emily gets to sleep in. Yay for her!

I will do that, SA.

Boy, I need some entertainment. I've been on hold with American Airlines for almost 45 minutes (they're hold estimator said 25 minutes. Bastards). And, I get to do this with Delta when I'm done. Blech.

Wooooo! Naked Lilty entertainment. Also, yay for the mall closing! Like anybody's gonna be crazy enough to shop in this (ok...I know there are people, I just...well...CRAZY!).

I'm on with American, finally. Not looking good for getting out tomorrow. Flights are already booked. Damn.

What is even happening?

I'm watching this old melodrama with Cary Grant, Penny Serenade. I know how it ends, I don't care, I'm still watching intently.
Oh, Penny Serenade kills me, each time, even though I totally know what's coming, and how very manipulative it is. It is evil.

This should be okay, right? I mean, I know it should be fine, but I still feel wrong for not going. I think I feel bad because I really didn't want to go in the first place.
It is all kinds of right to stay home and talk to your husband who is so far away. You need each other, and God knows that, Nonian. Pretend you live in Boston, and that church was actually closed on account of weather, okay?

SA, does your mom know all these things about J?

vw, you don't want to be home right now, anyhow. It's gorgeous, but they're saying the official totals of snow in Boston will probably surpass the totals of the Blizzard of '78. Now, official totals are sometimes just plain wrong. Or they only measure Boston, and miss the extra foot of snow the rest of us 10 miles north or south actually end up with. But they're expecting ~30 inches in Boston. I think we might have close to that, now.
