Bummer, Susan. My friend's daughter went through something like that a few months ago. When I was babysitting her, I couldn't take it and picked her up so she didn't go to sleep until her parents came home. They somehow managed to survive the screaming, though, and she eventually stopped. She still complains a little at being put to bed when there are people over, because she is extremely sociable, but she doesn't wail like she's being tormented.
I cannot fall in love with more china. I don't have anywhere to keep the china I already have.
there is a comic that lives on our refrigerator - a rhymes with orange I believe. She is glareing at her husband all am. he finally looks at herand asks what is wrongs she says " you were mean to me in my dream" . why is it there - because I dream that dream just enough to make that funny.
Isn't it lovely, Betsy?
The B&B where we stayed on our honeymoon had it, and it was just what I'd wanted (basically, Val D'or in silver instead of gold) and hadn't known existed when we registered.
The actual china we own is this. (We have six place settings of it.)
Finally!
Some good news about my friend:
he's off the respirator and is breathing on his own.
praise all the gods above and below.
they're discontinuing the sedatives too.
Yay, for the good news, Jilli. Continued ~ma to your friend.
Wonderful news, Jilli.
Deena, I'm sorry about the bad morning. And Susan, the thing about babies is that they grow out of stages pretty fast. The other thing about babies is that the pleasant stages seem to zip by, and the unpleasant ones seem to linger. I'm sorry for the stress.
From Plei's first link, I want this. Isn't it lovely? What I actually have, is this. Which is quite pretty, but not as lyrical. I do love the sterling rims, though, rather than yellow gold. The shapes of the cups and other holloware are the same as in Plei's first link. Paragon is a subsidiary of Doulton.
