Well, then, this is a day I'll feel good to be me.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I dreamed last night that I went with Nick to meet his dad, dumped Greg and went back to Nick's dad, and woke up feeling like a total jerk for dumping Greg, and couldn't shake it even though he was right there. Also, Nick's dad owned a fetish bar. It wasn't even a club, just a bar.

Then I rushed around, got ready, went to PT, to find out that my appt. isn't until Monday and felt like an idiot when they asked me why I was there. Got back home and the babies were total pains in the ass, Greg had to go to work and won't be home until 10ish, and I can't focus on the work I need to do. I just want to go back to bed.

Man, I'm fun today.

What is even happening?

Nora, it's okay. I dreamed that Topic!Cindy changed her name to Lightbulbs.

Yes, and my husband's mind went immediately to headlights (as it often does *sigh*) and then I had to tell him who Polter-Cow was, and that he probably meant nothing of the sort. Thankfully, dh already knows who UTTAD is (because UTTAD allegedly sent us a highly, some might even say 'extra', legal copy of some movie with elves in it) so I didn't have to give background on two people.

Boy, if Hubby started in on the "I'm going to weigh less than you-ou" thing, he'd be an ex-Hubby.
Mmmm. Yeah. Dh has enough sisters that he's actually been well trained on those little things. He knows how to answer all of the (what we call) Arlo-and-Janis questions, and what to say when I get my hair cut, particularly if it is a departure from the last cut.

Well, since he still weighs 50+ lbs. more than me, it's sort of a distant threat, you know. NSM "you suck, fatso," as "I know your competitive ways--you're not going to let me outdo you at something like this, are you?"

Trust me, he's not being an evil husband.

But men generally lose weight more quickly than women, so it's possible, Susan, even if he's not being evil.

Thanks, sj. I needed that.

this is a better picture. The one on the right (the soft pink lace) is the teacup.

Anytime, Deena.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The only bad dreams I have about my husband involve him beng a blue spotted alien whose touch will kill me. They're terrible while I'm having them, but don't really stay with me once I'm well and truly awake.

Tough on him, because I tend to sit up and scream, and his instinct is to hug me and pull me back down to sleep, and I, of course, am terrified of letting him touch me.

Ugh, -t, I hate those weird dreams. It seems like we should be able to shake them off faster, but they're so real when they're happening.

Well, he may lose the weight more quickly than me, but there's no way he's actually going to weigh less than me. If I can lose 10 lbs., I'll be under his goal weight, and I actually think he's set his goal a little too thin for what's actually realistic or attractive for his body type. If I can't lose 10 lbs. in the time it takes him to lose 60, one of us has a health problem--he'd have to have a tapeworm, or I'd have a seriously messed-up metabolism.
