Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That's sensible. No reason to actively court infection, y'know?

Not to mention all the strain a hacking cough can put on a sternum that's just been cracked open like a walnut. I was HUGELY relieved to get the call saying they postponed it.

Oh, and my attempt at tomato-ness for my pasta turned out passable, though not as flavorful as I would have liked, though the pasta in question was artichoke-stuffed tortellini, so that provided enough flavor.

Because I know you were all on the edge of your seat wondering.

a sternum that's just been cracked open like a walnut.

Are they definitely going in that way? I've read about laparoscopic bypasses, with no crackage at all.

That sounds simply yummy. Even without sauce. My favorite pasta is pureed asparagus-stuffed ravioli. I had some once in a restaurant in DC once--with a light garlic butter sauce. Divine.

This makes me hungry even though I pigged out on tacos for dinner. And I have iced oatmeal cookies to boot.

Wow. I just assumed. I had no idea that they don't have to crack the sternum anymore. I hope they can do it that way--save Mom the discomfort.

Cash, I honestly don't know how widespread it is, just that some hospitals have done it.

She's at a pretty progressive hospital. I'll find out more details when I go to Indiana tomorrow.

Trader Joe's frozen section.

Duly noted.

Holy cow! There is an article on Naveen Andrews in the Brad/Jen issue of People. He's so hot. And dating Barbara Hershey. Oooh, and he's in Bride and Prejudice!

Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, IN. My MiL went to their cardiac unit for stress testing and a weight loss clinic for cardiac patients. She liked it a lot.
