Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

~ma to Cashmere's Mom and Jilli's friends.

The work situation as slightly resolved. Turns out I'm not the only one WAY behind schedule, but I have to buckle down and do some things and I may wait until everyone is gone before I tackle that.

And I found out that I'm definitly going to be getting a major responsibility and there's going to be training. And this thing I'll be doing will look fantastic on my resume.

What is even happening?

Aimee, I am humbled by your packing skills. I know it's going to be a lot to lug, but a 7 week old is a 7 week old is a stuff magnet, and I think you did really well.

<takes a Valium>
<has a beer>

Those are two things you probably shouldn't take together, you know.

Oh hush, you. A really helpful pharmaceutiwhateva would be researching the optimum time for Aimee to nurse the Princessa, being sure to take into account time required for metabolism, such that the valium and beer would keep her quiet on the plane. ijs

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Good luck traveling with the baby, Empress.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Cats are furry little psychopaths. Cute, but still psychopaths.

Aimee, I recommend the Valium for you and the beer for Emma. What? She's going to her first con, she may as well get the full experience.....

askye, I'm glad the job front is working out. Yay!

We now have the kind of winter weather I like. A little snowy, highs in the 20s, very little wind. This is right and proper and good.

However, my face still fucking hurts. This is annoying. Last night in rehearsal, the woman playing Mistress Overdone and I sat and compared notes (she broke her nose and had to have surgery right before Christmas). It's very nice to have someone to swap stories with, especially someone who has a fucked-up sense of humor.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I second! Cause babies with beer? Always funny.

Sweet mother, I'm sick of these patent medicine ads. That's all they are, a return to the "good" old days of people shilling these potions. The so-called testimonials, "I recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to take drugs for their pain!" What the fuck do you think this stuff is, fast food? What do you think drugs are!!! "It's all-natural!" So's arsenic!

Cure your baldness, lose weight, treat your pain "without dangerous drugs"--oh, and stay tuned for the lawyer ad coming up next so you can sue a drug manufacturer.

And people wonder why I didn't go into advertising.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I just had cookies! They were free in the sense that DH bought them a few days ago.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I was thinking about the plushy bacteria, but they aren't really baby safe.

The ones we have say they're safe as long as you remove the tags. Annabel plays with ebola and the common cold on a regular basis.

Annabel woke up 5 (five!) times in the night, but at least this time all it took to get her back to sleep was sticking a pacifier in her mouth and patting her soothingly a few times. I'll be glad when she's over this cold.
