Xander, don't speak Latin in front of the books!

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

After my mom had chemo, she couldn't wear perfume anymore. She said everything smelled bad when she put it on. Can chemo change your body chemistry to that extent?

I temped for awhile at a cancer research/treatment center. There was a sign on the microwave warning people not to use it for popcorn, because the smell had a way of permeating to treatment floors and bothering the chemo patients. I didn't know the effects could be permanent, though.

WRT braided hair, when I was seven or eight I wore my hair in two long braids, Laura Ingalls style. I was adorable, if I do say so myself. And in high school, I used to have friends french braid my hair for band competitions, when our director made us cover up the 80's fullness of our normal hairstyles. But I never learned to do it myself,.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

The sad part about that story? Some of my cow orkers were too young to get it.

Watch it. The best I'm getting is that it is more familiar than the "badger, badger, badger" thing.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Where is everyone?

I put the baby to bed, ate Chinese food, watched Lost and The West Wing. And folded two loads of laundry.

I'm kind of back.

Trust my rage

So, it's 10:00 pm here and children are still stuck at school due to the weather. Kids will be spending the night and their teachers have to stay with the kids who aren't picked up.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm kind of back.

With your short hair. Which I applaud.

I am still at work. And will be for a few hours yet. I'm feeling less sick, so the experience of overtime while sick, is shifting away from shrift and over to just the terminally overworked Gud.

That's the kind of thing you remember your whole life.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Jeeze, Nonian! Where are you guys?
