Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Vanilla does make me happy, but it also really makes me hungry....

This same friend made me some body butter that is cocoa/vanilla/amber scented; Pete has complained that whenever I use it, he gets overwhelming chocolate cravings.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Hey Jilli, WSP has an Angel type scent, and they made it with: Jasmine, Musk, Patchouli, Brown Sugar. Their website is here: [link]

eta: Not that you should just use theirs, but I like seeing what other people mix to come up with their scents. It gives me ideas.

brillig

I hate floral perfumes, because they always smell like chemicals, not like flowers. Most rose fragrances make me nearly ill.

Citrus, some of the spicier fragrances. Bergamot and amber, mmm.

Yep, my friend does the same thing.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

It's nearly 50 degrees in Utah, and we need snow desperately. We're going to be cursed with this mild weather for at least another week.

It's 65 and sunny in Seattle, and very very humid. It's too cool to be muggy and too warm to be clammy, but the air feels unpleasantly still and damp. But hey! Sunshine! And it sure beats the mini ice storm from Saturday.

No ear infection for Annabel, but she has a cold. So the exact cause of last night's wail-fest remains a mystery. I'll be glad when she's old enough to tell us what's wrong.

Huh. AFAICT they're to protect you from getting peed upon rather than for modesty, at least. But still, huh.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

OMFG. I just went to my local laundromat to do my laundry (note to self: next apartment must have laundry at least in building, if not in unit) and what I've failed to notice about the place before is that it has no heat. None.

At first I thought maybe it was just broken, or that some environmentally-conscious person had turned it off when they left and the place was empty. But no. There is no thermostat. There is no space heater. There is nothing.

In Boston in July, this would not be a problem. In Boston in January, when it's freaking 12 degrees out, this is a huge problem. Usually I stay there with my clothes, reading a book until they're done. Today, I wasn't even finished loading the washer when my teeth started chattering. So now it'll be back and forth to switch the clothes into the dryer, check on them, and remove them. Blah.
