Sir? I think you have a problem with your brain being missing.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Cashmere, you know how I said putting Annabel in a sleep sack prevented her from pulling up in the crib?

I was wrong.

She's a clever girl. I knew she'd find a way. I think Owen's figured out how to fall back on his rump. Re: bedtime--O's been going in waves. Sometimes he's easy to get to sleep and sometimes not. Sometimes he'll sleep solidly through the night, sometimes not. I find the unpredictability more frustrating than anything else.

There is a giant snot monster living in my head. It's 3 degrees here and not supposed to break 20 all day. I don't think we're leaving the house.

I can't even.

Timelies all!

Dani is probably leading the race to the bottom of the thermometer, but it is -33C/-27F here this morning. One of my colleagues said the one good thing about the temperature was that his kids were quiet on the way in for a change, no fighting in the back of the car when it is this cold.

I have a nice pile of blankets on my bed and was very very tempted to just stay there a little longer, like say, until March.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Here it's been 30 one day and 60 the next. I enjoy the warm bits, but the 30 degree swing every other day is killing me.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

The highs this weekend were only in the teens. It was so cold that my windshield washer fluid on my car froze before it had a chance to clean the window.

Because books.

Timelies.

It was 66 last Friday, and then it suddenly dropped into the 30s. Today, with the wind chill, it's supposed to be, like, 10 or something. ::bundling up as I type::

Got the weirdest email from eBay today. I've only bought stuff twice, and both times I paid the same day I won the auction with PayPal. I've never sold anything. So today I get this email saying my account is being suspended. Here it is:

We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been suspended due to concerns we have for the safety and integrity of the eBay community.

Per the User Agreement, Section 9, we may immediately issue a warning, temporarily suspend, indefinitely suspend or terminate your membership and refuse to provide our services to you if we believe that your actions may cause financial loss or legal liability for you, our users or us. We may also take these actions if we are unable to verify or authenticate any information you provide to us.

Due to the suspension of this account, please be advised you are prohibited from using eBay in any way. This includes the update of your actual account.

If you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your online experience and update your personal records you will not run into any future problems with the online service.

Please update your records by the 22th of January. Once you have updated your account records your eBay session will not be interrupted and will continue as normal. Huh? Bold emphasis is mine. Also, the link to follow takes you straight to a page where they want my checking account info and/or credit card numbers. I ignored the whole thing, because I can take or leave eBay, but it seems seriously fucked up to me.

I take it all back. It is a balmy spring day here. Did your colleague check to be sure they hadn't just turned into kidcicles?

AmyLiz, that didn't come from eBay. It's someone phishing for your personal information.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'd bet money that email is not from EBay.
