It's Trudy!!!
Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I've been gone all day and it has taken forever to catch up.
I friended everyone on LJ that I hadn't before. I'm ste_noni, BTW.
P-C, still loving the India stories. I liked the end about how in India, everyone's like [you]. Also, I'm bummed for you that your editor didn't care for the Joss reference, although I think it's cool that you have worked Buffy back in.
Plei - I also like Lillian Elizabeth and I really love the nickname Lilly, if you decide to go that route. Good luck with the bra fitting!
I know I'm forgetting stuff, but I still have two more classes to read for, so I'd better get reading!
ETA: I remembered one thing. I hate hate hate female as a noun (as in she's a female). To me it's adjective or nothing. The US Army is the worst at this, routinely calling women "females."
Also, I'm bummed for you that your editor didn't care for the Joss reference, although I think it's cool that you have worked Buffy back in.
I don't think this metaphor is perfect, and it's not airtight, but it's so fun. Maybe it'll work anyway.
Hey - medically knowledgeable Bitches, I have a question: If I've not been able to keep much down today, should I take a Reglan (metoclopramide)? It was prescribed to me when I had to go into the ER for dehydration after I couldn't keep anything down after the accident. I would *really* like to avoid a repeat visit, but I'm apprehensive, I guess. I (vaguely) remember it being a "big guns" kind of drug, and I don't think this situation is necessarily the same.
If this goes through, it'll be the best thing ever.
And he wondered if this was something he could do.
And...
TRUDY!!!!
juliana, 2 questions: (1) Have you been gastrointestinally sick just today, or longer? (2) Did you eat normally yesterday?
TRUDY IS BACK! Hurray!
And he wondered if this was something he could do.
It doesn't work well enough. The Joss one was simple and elegant, but trying to make the metaphor work for vampires (and specifically Buffy vampires) makes it lose clarity. Alas. There was going to be a vampire with a soul and everything.
It's nice to be missed. ::kissieskissieskissies::
P-C, where is this going to be published?
