River: They weren't cows inside. They were waiting to be, but they forgot. Now they see the sky and they remember what they are. Mal: Is it bad that what she said made perfect sense to me?

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

If I thought it would get there in one piece, Plei, I would send you a chocolate cake.

No injury is very good. Drugs are good too. I just took mine. Let's hope things improve.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Princess Tickybox is ready for her close up.

Very cool.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

What about bosses with unrealistice expectations? Mine never tells me how I'm doing on the projects I've been working on and then later tells me I'm not doing them well enough.

Harder to walk away from, unfortunately. One of the biggest reasons I've chosen to be self-employed.

Of course, I'm far from being in a position to pick and choose my clients. Right now if it's legal, ethical, and within my abilities, I'll pretty much take it. But even this client who gets exasperated when I can't work miracles only impinges on my consciousness an hour or so a day, and next week will be only my second ever F2F with them.

Booze doesn't knock you out, does it?

No, sadly, otherwise I would be drinking heavily at the club tonight.

Hurrah for my very cool boss! "Sure, work at home tomorrow. I may email you with some other stuff, unless I tell the PM to fuck off."

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I forgot to say, thanks P-C, for more sharing of the travelogue. I really enjoy reading those. And I still love, love, love your tag. Wanna run off and have my wicked way with it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey Jilli, did you know that Rhino was reissuing the entire Cure catalog with lots of extra bonus tracks?

You probably did.

hmmmm. But, while I *like* early Cure, I don't know if I needneedneed that deluxe edition. When we get to the deluxe edition of Disintegration, then I will geeble in anticipation.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I made teppy's crab/cheese/spinach quiche and DH loved it. He said, "it's not quite scrambled eggs, it's not quite pie. I like both!"

Is yummy, no? I had red beans & rice with shrimp for dinner. Now I'm pondering having some sort of vegetable to ward off scurvy.

Also (watching Lost) I can confirm that, re the F/C/M game, I would indeed F Locke. Hey, I like 'em crazy yet confident.
