Mmm. Wife soup. I must've done good.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

GC, want a barely used Kara? Only 3 years old, barely broken in!

Deena, you need work on your timing of these offers. You don't tell the "digging up plants and flinging dirt" story and then offer Kara. You tell a cute "wearing one shoe all day as a pegleg pirate" story and offer Kara.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

She stole a christmas stocking from over the fireplace and wore it as a pegleg... does that count? The stocking wasn't damaged and neither was the fireplace.

You're right, Ginger. I'll try to do better.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

There was a quick comment of, "Yep. Looks like a little girl." from the tech today. This ultrasound was faster than my last two, on account of it being just a growth check. There was the freaky moment when I was watching the screen and thinking, "Gee, looks like she has my chin."

Our fridge is completely covered in ultrasound pictures now. Today's was another face shot. She looks more human each time.

If I thought I would actually fall asleep, a nap would sound great. Chocolate cake always sounds good.

Booze doesn't knock you out, does it? Chocolate cake sounds like the One True Food at the moment. I ate nasty-ass vegan jerky while in the car, and I need something to take the taste out of my memory.

It's my understanding that, in getting rid of children, timing is everything.

If I thought it would get there in one piece, Plei, I would send you a chocolate cake.

No injury is very good. Drugs are good too. I just took mine. Let's hope things improve.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

What about bosses with unrealistice expectations? Mine never tells me how I'm doing on the projects I've been working on and then later tells me I'm not doing them well enough.

Harder to walk away from, unfortunately. One of the biggest reasons I've chosen to be self-employed.

Of course, I'm far from being in a position to pick and choose my clients. Right now if it's legal, ethical, and within my abilities, I'll pretty much take it. But even this client who gets exasperated when I can't work miracles only impinges on my consciousness an hour or so a day, and next week will be only my second ever F2F with them.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Booze doesn't knock you out, does it?

No, sadly, otherwise I would be drinking heavily at the club tonight.

Hurrah for my very cool boss! "Sure, work at home tomorrow. I may email you with some other stuff, unless I tell the PM to fuck off."

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I forgot to say, thanks P-C, for more sharing of the travelogue. I really enjoy reading those. And I still love, love, love your tag. Wanna run off and have my wicked way with it.
