I miss Oz. He'd get it. He wouldn't say anything, but he'd get it.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

I've been meaning to check that out. Anybody have a link handy for Cleolinda's recap?

Xposted, of course. I love the Buffistas. They give me what I want before I can even ask.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

It is, I'm pretty sure, the darkest red lipstick on the market.

Sounds beautifully intense.

Cleolinda's recap of The Phantom was deliriously funny. I'm glad that the Really Useful folks agreed.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Dammit, just lost a post.

Gud, yeah, no grief here. Kept everything running; I just snuggled in and cleaned my house and read. What about you?

Speaking of movies, any of you movie peeps get an early look at Elektra?

And oh, here's my coffee. I'm gonna drink it and chat and then I have to move my ass outta here, dammit.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The downside to having one's hair cut in the middle of the day is I'm going to be finding bits of hair on my face all day, and I can't shower them off until I get home. (Where I need to touch up my color, because the new cut has revealed some very brown bits that were previously covered up by the blue hair on top of it.)

Power was out for 10 hours and a few downed limbs, but nothing serious. I also have pretty pictures:

DH did. (Early morning screening, so I couldn't go.) He said it was bad. Not Catwoman bad, but at least Daredevil bad. The story makes less than no sense, and the action is disappointing.

Thrive to spite them

Called the salon, spoke the stylist (I realised that I hate to do that because then I feel compelled to use him/her even if they don't know my name, etc). Cut (including blow out and style) is $40. Which is totally cool.

Of course I just got my hair cut but I think I'll try him next time. This is roughly the 7 stylist I've used in the past 2 years. I know some people use the same person for years and years and it's traumatic to even think of finding someone new, but I don't quite get that. Maybe because I'm still searching for my one true stylist.

And Elektra was the best part about DD. Damn, but I'll go see it with my sister. Sounds like a perfect dinner-and-a-bad-actio-flick outing for us.

Gud, about a day after the storm, the sun peeked very briefly through the clouds and set the hill of trees southwest of the Plza on fire; people were just staring. It was so fucking gorgeous, my mouth was just dropped to my knees and I had this huge "wow!" smile on my face.

It just lasted a minute, but it was amazing.
