I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

My review is in the next week, and I suspect it will not be nearly as glowing

Dude, those people are of the crazy. Just wanted you to keep it in mind when you sit down for your review. Just, consider the source is all.

My 1-year anniversary here is coming up (1/21) and I don't know what the deal is. Allegedly there's a promotion in the works (doesn't have to do with the 1 year thing) but I don't know if there's a standard review/increase thing here at all. It's so hard to find these things out, too.

What is even happening?

-t, did you tell us your due date, yesterday? If you did, I didn't see.

Nora, are you drinking enough, particularly water, and particularly when you're eating? I tend to get those problems when I'm not drinking enough.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Today I have the lovely lovely PMS and am having the big hate-on for myself.

Robin! Don't go hatin' on yourself. Let's consider the report card on Scrappy. Sassitude? Superior. Loyalty? Ultra. Thoughtfulosity? Soooo Much. Wisdom? Dude, there's a t-shirt. Sex-ay? Oh yeah. Funny? Plus score. What's not to love?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

-t, did you tell us your due date, yesterday? If you did, I didn't see.

I did not. My estimate is 9/16, but that's just me looking at calendars and counting. I'll get an "official" due date when I go to the doctor. I assume.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I think that maybe our trashcan is somewhere in the large snowbank at the end of the street. This could hinder today's cleaning.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Robin, what astarte said. Or (I've lost track of your pet situation, but if you have one) you could do what I did yesterday and insult the cat/dog horribly, but in a pleasant voice.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I want to undress Daniel Day Lewis. And then redress him. Are there no mirrors where he lives? His wife lets him leave the house dressed like this?

What is even happening?

I expect to hold the minority opinion, but I always sort of suspected that's what DDL really looked like. I so missed the meeting on him, even in his "pretty" days.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

His wife lets him leave the house dressed like this?

See, if he'd married me instead of marrying his anima figure, he'd be properly dressed and wouldn't havce the stupid beard.

I so missed the meeting on him, even in his "pretty" days.

I'm remembering him in buckskins in LotM and climbing into my bunk.

Connie, yay! on the good review.
