Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

I just reminded myself of on The Wire, when a young dealer teaches the other other guys chess by using terms from the street they know already...like a bishop is like the stash because it moves all the time, pawns are like soldiers cause they just gotta "stand there and die."
"Unless they some smart-ass pawns," one guy says. I think I got the math equivalent.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I am drinking Bad Office Coffee (tm). I decided against calling in "sick" today.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I was taught "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally."

AAAAHHHHHH!!!! (GRE prep flashback.)

Speaking of the GREs, I got my official scores back, with the written part graded. I got 5.0 out of 6, graded in half steps. Is it dumb to be vaguely disappointed with a basically good grade?

Also, timelies.

Polter, I think you're still jetlagged.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

So, at a meeting this morning I volunteered to help with a huge floorset in either Massachusetts or New Hampshire. After I did, I thought "Why did I do that?". I am going to blame it on lack of caffiene. But at least it gets me out of my store. And they will get me a hotel, and pay me way more for mileage than I will use, so I can put the extra in my "Save for F2F" bucket.

ETA: Woohoo! P-C's drugging me!!

I've been doing it my whole life. Except in the last few years when I lowered my expectations because I started sucking.
