I may have to start watching tThe Wire, just on the strength of street guys playing chess.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Coffee. Need coffee.
hooks up IV
(But four what, you ask.)
I am drinking Bad Office Coffee (tm). I decided against calling in "sick" today.
I was taught "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally."
AAAAHHHHHH!!!! (GRE prep flashback.)
Speaking of the GREs, I got my official scores back, with the written part graded. I got 5.0 out of 6, graded in half steps. Is it dumb to be vaguely disappointed with a basically good grade?
Also, timelies.
Polter, I think you're still jetlagged.
So, at a meeting this morning I volunteered to help with a huge floorset in either Massachusetts or New Hampshire. After I did, I thought "Why did I do that?". I am going to blame it on lack of caffiene. But at least it gets me out of my store. And they will get me a hotel, and pay me way more for mileage than I will use, so I can put the extra in my "Save for F2F" bucket.
ETA: Woohoo! P-C's drugging me!!
Is it dumb to be vaguely disappointed with a basically good grade?
I've been doing it my whole life. Except in the last few years when I lowered my expectations because I started sucking.

Shush, you.
Val--that sounds like homework I should be doing! I need to take that up with my therapist on my next appt. Also the diary cards.
They're great, askye. They've been really helpful for me. My therapist and I once spent two hours disecting one of the chain analysis (what's the plural of that? I can't seem to get it right). We figured out stuff that we never would have without it.

Nope. Not dumb at all. Remember my presentation for my Numbers class? I got an A, but 9.5 out of 10 points. I wanted to know where that .5 went. I think it's normal. Either that or a whole bunch of us are completely crazy.
I've got my hair dye now. I think I've decided to wait to dye it till tomorrow, though. I don't want to smell all dyish when I go to get my hair cut. It's one thing if the stylist knows that you dye your own hair. I think it's a total nother thing to do it the same day, before your appointment.
VW! INSENT!
Edit: oops, use board name. And possibly inside voice.
