Hey, don't worry about it. Nest full of vampires, you come get me, okay. Box full of puppies, that's more of a judgement call.

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Yay for good Cass news!!! {{{Cass}}}

deb, I didn't see the show but the photo on the Web site is so great! I'm jealous - I love those makeover shows. Glad you all had fun.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

is this about Deb's piece, which I thought was nice and saved on Tivo?

Ayup. On the up side ... okay, so it's raining a lot. I got that. TWO HOURS WORTH OF MORNING NEWS, THOUGH? Most of it seemed to be reminding you to not go stare at the strange water in the rivers.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I couldn't help it. I submitted one.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That thing that was so scary that I couldn't talk about it and that I found out about on Friday afternoon when I couldn't do a damn thing about it either? Worked out.

Yay!!!!

Ayup

Phooey.

Who? moi??

A couple of those from the first link are very familiar. Especially number 13. A tech writer I know told me about it a few years ago.

Back to expensive clothes for a moment. Second hand clothes stores, Ebay (very recently I heard of a wedding dress purchased there) charity shops, factory outlets.

I got a raincoat a couple of years ago with a fur lined hood at Nordstrom's rack. $60. Marked down from some god awful amount.

Once I got a leather full length coat, with a zip out down lining, for $100. The store (Eddie Bauer) had originally had it for sale for $600. but had marked the last one down. As I tried it on, a sign caught my eye. Everything on this rack 50% off of sale price. heh heh. Still have the coat, my figure has expanded a bit. Hope springs eternal.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm glad it worked out, Cass. That's wonderful news.

Now tagless for your comfort.

If this is what it's come to, stop the bus, I'm getting off.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

If you feel inspired by events to contact your congresscritter, here's an easy way to do so:

I know what I'm going to be doing tonight. Dammit.

What is even happening?

This is true. Plus, most gothable stuff goes on clearance in January, so if you try really hard to be patient, you can re-stock your wardrobe with black velvet for not very much money.

I contort with envy when I think of your wardrobe, Jilli.

Have any of the Bitches done online Weight Watchers? What did you think?

My mother did, and liked--actually I think preferred it, to the meat space program.

That thing that was so scary that I couldn't talk about it and that I found out about on Friday afternoon when I couldn't do a damn thing about it either? Worked out.
Good, Cass!
I have to run one last mega-important errand right now but I think I am going to do one last post when I get back detailing exactly what everyone helped me get through. If only so I can finally say all of it out loud.
There is just not enough thanks in the world...
There is plenty more than is needed. All you got here is moral support, and you no doubt would have given plenty in kind, had the situation been reversed.

Jess, that letter is too much.

Can't...stop....laughing....

Client calls:
- Our website is covered with pink lines, why did you do that?
Me: Uhm, I didn't do anything, what do you mean, pink lines?
Client: Wait... oh, they're all over the (major newspaper) website as well, did you do that too? Why did you do it? It's all over the internet now, I don't want that!
