$500 on a bag. Yes, if it was saddle brown leather, of the perfect quality and softness, large and sturdy enough to function as a briefcase, laptop case, and/or overnight bag, and comfortable to carry, with a strap long enough to go across the body and also padded grip handles. A purse? Nuh-uh. I'd be thinking of all the rest of the stuff I needed I could spend $450 on after I bought a really well-constructed backpack or messenger style fabric purse.

And I've had a want-it, want-it-not relationship with the Aragorn ring, until I realized that I really didn't want the ring, I wanted the hand that wore the ring, and everything attached to it. What I'd really like? Either the Elrond or the Galadriel tiara!

We've achieved lunch but no shower. That's coming up next. Then the Venturing Out before the blasted rain comes back.
