'Out Of Gas'

Spike's Bitches 21 Gunn Salute

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Heh. You're right, Nora. Jack is very Peanuts-esque. His frequent death-bowl antics have only endeared me to him more. The little shit.

I don't think I would let my boss know if I got an interview. I do actually consider her a friend, but she's got to be so close with the DM right now, it's entirely possible I could be replaced without getting the job. It means that I'd really hear it in the event I DID get the job, but it'd be worth a couple weeks of pain. Plus, if they really bring in the ringers it sounds like they are going to, they'd probably be ok (or maybe even relieved) when I left. They are holding onto me right now because they think I've got potential, and know that they have dropped the ball big time on my development. If I left, they could bring in some other high performance type.

And now, I've got to go to work, natch. I packed a bag in case it doesn't look like I can get home. See y'all later!

Always Anti-fascist!

Park Dietz used to have a good reputation. Hope that one case was worth using it as tissue paper.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Better not be me. Unless the recurring nightmare of my adolescence has come true at long last - getting preggers and having no idea how. Not that I forgot the facts of life in my dreams, more... wha? huh? how can... who? when? Darn, I musta missed the fun.

What is even happening?

erika, are you familiar enough with him to know if there's a chance he consulted on a similar (but not the same) L&O storyline, or other series, and just made a mistake in recalling the particulars? I can't imagine having the chutzpah to lie *like that*. I keep thinking that confusing is more likely than intentional lying in a case like this.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Even if it was "confusion" on his part--it is EASILY checked and should have been double checked before he testified. I can't believe the prosecution wouldn't do that. It's insane. More insane than Andrea Yates, if that's possible.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

and then Jon B. showed up, followed by JZ and Hec, and I introduced all 3 of them to my best friend as "those internet people."

JZ's not pregnant either.

But what about YOU? Have you become a Wonder Of Science(TM)?

But I'm glad we were hanging around in the funhouse which is your brain.

I don't know if you were Jon's entourage, or what.

Oh, yes. Absolutely. I just am trying to figure out the how on his part. That the prosecution didn't watch the frigging episode in question is unbelievable.

I don't know how to file Andrea Yates in my head, so I just don't. She lives in the pile of stuff I don't know how to process. It's a big pile, but she's always right near the top.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But what about YOU?

I am capable of a pregnant pause.

Have you become a Wonder Of Science(TM)?

I actually went with the cut-rate discount Blunder Of Science(TM).

As a matter of historical fact, however, my very existence is dependent on 20th century science.

Where, instead of exclaiming "Eureka!", you exclaim "Oh, SHIT!"?

Re: the mysterious Buffista pregnancy.

It is ever so very much not me, thank any God, Goddess, or Combination thereof that might be responsible. While my jeans are a tad tight I can lay that firmly at the door of Too Much Good Chocolate over the past month.
