Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

You have been having a hard time of late and unless he makes your life easier in some way--or at least not harder--maybe you shouldn't be living with him right now.

I am not living with him, he is living with me. It's my house.

As to why he's not gone, it is complicated, and I'm really tired right now.

He will be made gone if Andi moves in with me, someday. Hee.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Sorry, not clear. I knew he was living with you--that's why the decision is up to you.

And I am sure it is complicated--family always is. Sigh.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

how does she handle the mosquitos? I think I'm more allergic than most people because I get welts the size of quarters and have to take oral benadryl and use the cream to keep from scratching my skin off.
Not Deb but wickedly reactive to lots of bites (fleas are horrible), and most swell to the size of said quarters, get swollen and pus-filled , and do other bad things. I end up going with the Benedryl, prescription-strength hydrocortisone ointment, some 6% benzocaine cream and ice packs. And hot hot hot showers which are probably bad but can numb out the area before the drugs and the ice packs. Ugh, bites are ooogy.

I am feeling of the suck. And of the hacking cough at times. But I got mom's old laptop and so I can still post sometimes.

Technology, making viruses better... Sadly that reads more way than one.

Poor sweetie. Hair pats and hot tea for you.

I am writing! The essay I thought I was writing is not the essay that I seem to actually be writing, but that's okay. I'm going with it.

Now tagless for your comfort.

{{{Cass}}} I hope you feel better soon.

fleas are horrible

Now I'm wondering if a flea infestation we had when I was very young might have contributed to my problem with bites. A cat had kittens in our basement and we ended up fostering the kittens until we could find homes for them. It took a while to get rid of the fleas they brought in with them and I recall that I had HORRIBLE bites from the knees down. This is the first recollection I had of nasty insect bite reaction.

ita tried to kill me with her citrusNotChocolate!cake once. (I'm somewhat allergic to it as well)

My baby* brother was allergic to eggs as an infant, but he outgrew it. Sadly, the lethal peanut allergy stayed.

(*For all values of "baby" which include "ginormous hulking teenager." He's a full head taller than me, and I can't cope.)
