That's one spunky little girl you've raised. I'm gonna eat her.

Looks more like 6-8 here (B'more), but I haven't gone outside. I'm judging the pileup on my rearview mirrors. It's stopped here now, but I understand there's another mini one coming. Plus winds!

Ick.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

We just had sunshine for about five minutes, but it looks like it might be revving up to snow again. My car is only one of two cars that are still buried on the west side of the street--there are other cars parked on that side, but they're all cleaned off and have been used today (why would anyone want to go out in this weather?). I'm debating if I should pull my shovel out and dig my car out now or wait until tomorrow.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Turns out my back is kind of screwed up

I was gonna nag you. Turns out I don't have to, but that's not nice news. Very sorry to hear it.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Trying to get caught up on some research. I know, I know. It sucks, but I'm not the only one here, and that's some consolation.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I really do not want to go out and switch my car to the other side of the street. Which I am sure wil involve shoveling. And I can't find my mittens!!!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I can't find my mittens!!!

Have you checked with the kittens?

So I now have chili. Other reminders of why I never cook:

1) slicing my finger open while chopping the onion

2) Onion juice seeping into the cut through the bandage while I was chopping the rest of it.

3) Small grease burn on my arm from leaping grease.

4) Dropping the spatula onto the floor not once but twice flinging grease and onion pieces everywhere

5) Misjudging the heat and charring some of the chili to the bottom of the pot.

6) The fact that even though I'm using my mother's recipe, it still tastes nowhere as good as when she makes it.

You might be looking at that as a cause, where others would see that as an effect.

I know. Practice makes perfect and all that. At the moment, though, it's a whole lot of aggravation for not a lot of payoff.
