Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I definitely hear that, but no hot water? In Michigan? In January? No thanks.

Well, okay, I've taken a handful of cold baths and one cold shower in my adult life. Very against the cold. Even in LA in the summer. But that's what makes it an issue -- balancing the temporary intense discomfort, or the lingering disquiet.

Spongebath, or lots of kettling.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'd sponge bathe with water heated on the stove before willingly going 3 days between showers.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't shower every day anymore, and I kind of love it. I think it's better for my skin and hair, too.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I shower before bed. It's one of those religious divides; some people get up and get clean, some people get clean and go to bed.

Bath before bedtime. If I don't take a bath before I go to bed, I have (more) problems falling asleep.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I, too, think the world will not collapse if you skip a day of showering. Especially if hypothermia is a distinctly possible byproduct of said showering.

I also think warding with pickles would be wicked cool. And I'm going to go home now since it's finally past 6 pm and I can remove one thing from my list of things I don't understand.

Oh sure. But I'd sponge bathe with stove-heated water WAY before I'd take an icy cold shower in the winter.

See, I can't (like compulsion can't) put on body lotion on unwashed skin. And even if I don't shower, I have 36 hours max before I need to be re-moisturised.

I remember a cousin moving to England and being so excited he could shower at night and wake up not funky. Not like Jamaica.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I don't shower every day (more by circumstance than by choice), and I don't wash my hair every time I shower. My hair is much nicer if I only wash it a couple times a week.

Suddenly, tho' I feel like I'm the skanky Buffista.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Burrell, you aren't the skanky Buffista at all! (BTW did you get my email?)

If the storm is bad, you can blame Jesse for taunting it.

I love washing my hair each day and feel ick if I don't. That's a me issue though and not a grooming expecation for others.
