I actually was typing it as one word "aboveground". Though I didn't in my post. Because I am a bonehead. (eta: Word doesn't like the hyphen. And congrats on making it to the next round, Dana! As well as sympathy on the taking forever part)
Well, Word is a poopyhead, because if you don't have a hyphen, the assumption is that "above" modifies "vault" and not "ground". Although I guess technically, "above" is an adverb, not an adjective...but it looks better.

- What is wrong with my thrice damnable budget numbers that mean that sheet A does not match up with sheet B despite having been entered directly from the data in sheet B.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
So while it is nice to speak to a human, and I understand that people's reaction is annoying, I tend to give the person I'm calling more information via voicemail.
I totally agree. Perhaps it means I leave bad voicemails, but they are very different from any message that goes through a third party.

I'm not too eager for this. The absence of time lag in sending stuff would lead to my clients expecting finished work as soon as they're done giving me instructions, since of course actually doing work shouldn't take any longer than getting it from place to place.
