In fact, these are the shoes.

Swouncing

I fulfilled my job.

I actually looked yesterday. I went into around half a dozen shops. All but 2 didn't have anything in my size. One had kids' shoes, so my size - but all on high - I'm not sure what's the name in English - platforms that I can't walk on, so I didn't even try anything on. The last one had a couple of pairs which were only one size too big for me. I tried them on, even though they were really ugly IMHO, but they were just too big. So, no new shoes for me. You fulfilled your part so much better.

What's the Hebrew spelling of the name Pinkhes?

Hil, it's Pe-Nun-Kheit-Samekh. You may have a "Yod" after the "Pe", if it's not punctuated. [Edit: obviously, an edit-x-post]

Cute Shoes!

Getting motivated to work is hard, since all of the emails I've gotten so far are about things that I need before I can do stuff being delayed.

Cute Shoes!

Thanks! They are silly and they were inexpensive by the time we used the discounts etc.

Also, not great for walking in the rain. I assume.

It's overcast here, but it's supposed to get above freezing today, which shall be delightful.

This is going to be one of those days where I'm so bored that I twitch incessantly, and yet I'm unwilling to do anything resembling work to mitigate my situation.

Thank you, Nilly. (My googling had found the spelling with the yud, and we were debating whether it was neccesary.)

Honestly, I am not sure. I need to read the manual to see exactly what happened, but every time I hit a large puddle of water (and as had been pointed out, there are a lot of them around), it felt like the car was working to stabilize itself, and it took me by suprise the first time.
