I'm a stone hottie, full of mystery, suspense, and unbridled judgmentalism. However, Colin? Really fair too. But I think he does it out of a philanthropy, where I'm coming at it from a "we all suck" bent.
A lot of that depends on the size of the set. The Dolly Grip can be resposible for all of the car mounts and other items on a big set, or on a small TV shoot it could literally be just the guy that moves the camera dolly in the studio.
The DP is also often the guy floating around with what looks like a lens train hanging from his neck.
But Colin, also utterly charming. That's where he wins. though his girl seems genuinely nice. Like nicer than all y'all combined.
My parents go through that too. People are amazed when they don't think 12 miles of no traffic is very far.
