Funny thing about black and white. You mix it together and you get gray. And it doesn't matter how much white you try and put back in, you're never gonna get anything but gray.

My favorite dress so far has been Clive Owen's wife's. And she had the BEST accessory I saw all night.

I think Cate Blanchett's was my favourite. But I loved this one too, especially if it came with the date.

Jesus. Has Debi Mazur always been that skeletal? [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sue! How can you love the flower? Say it ain't so!

TiVo facing problems.

Brenda, I haven't seen one, but it did make me smile.

What is even happening?

brenda, I think she has, or nearly so.

Cate Blanchett's dress could have worked for me, like La Garner's, it was the ornamentation that ruined it for me.

I still think Cate Blanchett should narrate The Bible, for one of those books-on-tape deals.

So, in my not very scientific census of staff in the building. I had just under 4 dozen cookies this morning and I went around and found every person on this floor and gave them a cookie. Some had two. I have 18 cookies left. So there are less than 30 people here out of probably 150-200.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Raquel Welch and Meryl Streep should not have the best looking breasts at the GG's. Whyfor does no one wear supportive undergraments?

There were a lot of nipples. Maybe an amnesty was declared.

Okay, I didn't love the flowers that much, but I loved the dress on Cate. I liked the way it was cut to her body, yet had those flowy train and sleeves. I loved the colour on her too.

I thought she looked classy and beautiful.

I loved the color (on her, I don't think I could wear that color, but wish I could) too, Sue. If it didn't have the rosette--actually the two big rosettes (one on her bust, one on her hip), I would be standing right next to you.

I am totally with Sophia on the need for good undergarments. I also think a lot of these dresses should have been lined/more sufficiently lined. I think I could see Cate's navel. I still want to know more about Mariska's dress. Even if I chalk up her marvelous, bulge-less lines to undergarments, I don't understand how the gown could be completely uncreased. I wonder if that was some sort of satin-something else blend.
