Nora! Seeing you in vw's pictures, and now seeing your screen name, how nice.
ita, remember I told you after the krav class that maybe I should have imagined, for the kicking, the face of somebody? A guy who just disappeared on my roommate after going out with her for months? Well, that's the roommate who got engaged and will get married in two months. To a completely different guy (and a much nicer one, too, even without the disappearing). Life is strange and interesting.
I think no one else hates Natalie Portman's dress enough. It has too many different periods of fashion history all in one
Oh dear. I couldn't see the bottom of Natalie's dress in the pic linked last night. Yuck.
Life is strange and interesting.
This is why you can't kick people, isn't it? Because it might all work out anyway.
I don't mind the bottom of Natalie's dress. Sure, she'd look like she was wearing a nightie, but it'd be young and kinda ... relaxed. The belt is evil incarnate.
Ouise! I never even congratulated you on the job and the exams-passing and stuff, that's how long I hadn't posted with you!
Thanks, Nilly. It's mostly my fault - I've hardly been here at all. Shocking, I know. It's lovely to see you again!
I now have dough rising for the making of cinnamon buns. I decided to make a double batch, because it's that sort of day.
Cindy, I think you described the dress very well. Also, you look lovely in picture as well as in face-space
It's funny, Nilly, (well, to me, in that I do this with my husband and friends, too) that when I see photographs of friends who are clearly happy and having fun, they are my favorite photos, even if they aren't glamour shots.
A few times, Teppy has linked photos of herself where she is convinced she looks like a total dork, and I *love* them, because she looks so happy, and like she's just having a great time. I am missing that "happiness filter" when I look at pictures of myself. That photo you linked of us, is one of those photos. However, I remember how much fun we were having with Ellen giving her orders for us to be candid, so I enjoy it, even while I'm mentally wearing out the airbrush on myself.

Oh, Sophia. I hadn't seen that black band/belt/whatever on her dress, before. That's tragic. I think I would like the dress if that was gone, even with the other elements left intact. She is such a beautiful woman.
My favorite dress so far has been Clive Owen's wife's. And she had the BEST accessory I saw all night.
I'm at the office, mainlining coffee, and trying to convince myself that I actually have to do some work, no really.
Plus, this weekend I'm going to Michigan to see Joe, Aimee, Emeline, JohnSweden, and maybe a few other Buffistas.
Just
how
many Buffistas are gonna be at this shindig?
I shall ignore my social anxiety by looking at Golden Globe pictures.
I think I liked Hilary Swank's dress the best, even though that's not my colour. She -- she knows how to dress her breasts.
Hilary's dress was great.
Raquel Welch looking gorgeous, too. [link]
