You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

What's supposed to be bad about coffee grinds down the drain? Surely they're small enough not to clog anything?

It depends on where the drain goes. If the drain is going to a sewage system, like it would in, say, Brooklyn or Somerville, then you can put all the grounds you want down there. However, if your drain is going to a septic system like it would in my town, and probably the places Nutty grew up, then you don't want to do it. Septic systems can't break them down, so the solids just build up in the tank, and clog things up. The same goes for disposals.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

My kitchen drain is strangely connected to the washtub in the basement. If I rinse anything down it, the whole thing backs up. It is a PITA.

What is even happening?

Are goldfish crackers laced with crack? They are nigh impossible to stop eating.

Yes. See also Gum Drops, which I don't even like much, but if I take one, I might as well eat 50, and then feel oogy.

Theo, you just made me miss Aruba (not that I don't, always). The cactuses (cactii?) were so phallic, we were perpetually 12.

I also think Krispy Kremes are laced with crack. I don't even like them that much, but I can't stop, and then I fell HORRIBLE.

Oh, TOTALLY. They're way too sweet, they make my teeth hurt, but warm and fresh??? Cannot stop eating the things.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

now I want Krispy Kremes.

thank god, gum drops don't get me like that (though gummy bears do).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My bathroom sink is connected to my tub. Which is also, coincidentally (or not) currently clogged. Need to get Drano or some shit. Or at least call the super. It's been a week since we've talked, maybe he misses me!

Allyson, perfect gift for your wee nephew: the wee mote. It's programmable for the child's favorite channels. And safe for them to use.

That thing cracks me up. Although then you'd REALLY have to be sure to keep the real remote away from the kid, wouldn't you?

I bought a single rose for myself yesterday. It’s yellow with pinky-orange on the crinkled edges, and it’s still pretty tightly wrapped, and it smells divine. I get happy every time I look at it.

Mmm, that sounds like my parents' roses. They smell so much better than any rose I've ever bought, it's ridiculous.

I have newly groomed eyebrows. That's always a good thing. I even splurged and got the lip done, too -- I usually deal with it at home, but haven't been, much, lately. The waxing lady was like, "Lip too, RIGHT?!?!?" I caved. I figure, when better to walk home all red and blotchy than in the dark and rain?

Cinnamon bears are also crack to me. As in, I should probably stop keeping them in the house, because if they are here, I will eat them in vast quantities.
