"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I hope it means there's a portal or something.

The weathermen said the last time this pattern hit was sometime in the 20s, I think. In brief, the west coast is getting hit by an arctic front sweeping down, the east coast is getting whomped from the Atlantic, and there's a third major front coming up from the Gulf. So - pretty much an entirely precipitating nation.

Did it collect 2 Buffistas?

Yeah, and now they are taking over.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Yeah, they're arguing about what to name the ark.

If I only had a brain...

The problem with complimenting people about weight (either way) is that it can be correlated with medical troubles. The last time people were cooing at me about how much weight I'd lost, I had anorexia from Prozac, and wasn't happy about it at all. I've also taken meds that made me gain weight. Pfeh on the serotonin system!

Always Anti-fascist!

"I second that feh, and raise you a mmgh," Both because it's true and because when in doubt quote Xander Harris.

Well, some of the East coast. The midatlantic is, with periodic normal weather (though biased towards rain rather than snow), experiencing unseasonably warm weather. It isn't even freezing out! I

lori, your dryer is outside?!! Even in NM we wouldn't consider that (monsoon season.) Unless you mean clotheslines. Those I had for 16 years. And limey water. Crunchy towels were the norm.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

experiencing unseasonably warm weather. It isn't even freezing out!

It is fairly odd for us to be getting all this rain in January. It's 38 out right now.

So, I just opened my utilities bill and there was a notice that my service was being turned off. Um. WTF?!? I have auto-pay out of my bank account, and money in the bank. So I called, waited on hold for 15 minutes, and....yeah, just an error. OMG.

Jesse, that reminds me. I really need to get my gas service "turned on." It's on. They just added new meters. I'm supposed to take over paying for it. I'm told I have 15 days. They did it like...a month ago? It would really suck to come home to no heat.

But hey! My going month-to-month on my rent is only costing me an additional $575, not $720! need to start house shopping. need to go get preapproved and told my down payment available is too piddly
