If I only had a brain...

What's wrong with Tommy John?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kat gave him the pigeon book, ita.

Figures. She's crafty.

I have fond memories of Peter Rabbit and Clifford the big red monster dog. And it's never too early for fairy tales and folklore from around the world, ever.

Oh, we had a book of (I think) a maori creation myth that was just gorgeous.

Wonder what happened to the lovely Beatrix Potter books I remember as being old fashioned.

Our wings are not tired

Allyson, Owen will stop crying to stare and smile at me when I sing, "Lalalalalala".

And my brain just goes right to Minnie Ripperton.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sean Astin ("Jeremiah")

Yeah, because that's what people know him from. Did anyone else flip from The Good Son (I think that's what it is) to Rudy on TV the other day? I was all "Home Alone and Frodo! Samwise Gamgee!" Like a dork.

Mine's stuck on the Delfonics.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

What's wrong with Tommy John?

Nothing, once he had the Tommy John surgery. It's just that he's wasn't quite as good a pitcher as Bert Blyleven (or Jack Morris, IMO).

I've got the Fugees, or someone.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I've been seeing ads for Flipper with a very young Elijah Wood on some channel or other. Aside from broader shoulders and looking like he might shave occasionally, he hasn't changed that much over the years.
