"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

There dosen't appear to be any actual cola in that recipe. Also, none of the other ingredients provide any caffeine.

How does the Coke recipe look? Could you make this in your kitchen, DX?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

A friend of mine got married in a medical museum, and we all went touring the exhibits of old preserved medical mysteries -- tumors and deformities and shit. It was kind of freaky. But it got my mind off my ex who was also there with his future wife....

Can anyone recommend a fun, low-key bar in the city that plays Gipsy Kings or similar kind of Latin/Flamenco/Middle-Eastern music?

If I only had a brain...

FTR, other than seeing ita and a whole lot more dead bodies than I ever thought I'd see, I have done almost nothing of note today.

Who finally snapped?

Tumors with hair and teeth!

Those are the ones that freak me out.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Tumors with hair and teeth!

Ooh, I had a cyst like that. Well, with hair. It was by my eyebrow, though, so not that exciting. I was totally rooting for teeth, but alas, no go.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

How does the Coke recipe look? Could you make this in your kitchen, DX?

The Pepsi recipe is too large for my kitchen. 7500 pounds of sugar?

The coke recipe at least looks manageable, although they don't really say what the recipe is for the "F.E. CoCo," which I presume is where the cocaine and cola live.

Y'all know that coriander is the seed of the cilantro plant, right?

"F.E. CoCo,"

F.E. stands for Fluid Extract, I'm pretty sure.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, god, the cysts with the teeth do gross me out. The cyst I had removed seemed to have been smooth and hairless. Which is good.

The sample that icked me the most was a kidney. I think it was cysts, but it was HUGE. The kidney diseased samples were pretty nasty.

Y'all know that coriander is the seed of the cilantro plant, right?

Well, that explains why I was getting mixed up and imagining cilantro flavored Pepsi ( which would be the bain of Allyson's exisitance IIRC)
