makes note to ask Deb if she'll sign my first edition of her book, as it isn't for some reason.

Of course I will. Is this Weaver, or Famous Flower?
Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2004? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

Woo hoo! I have Lush goodies courtesy of the lovely (and hopefully headache-free) aurelia. Chocolate Whipstick Lip Balm, which smells so yummy, and a Butterball Bath Bomb, and a Floating Island Bath Melt...I need to go home right now and take a bath.
Thank you so much!

Weaver. I still need to purchase Famous Flower. Congrats on the tv spot. Fun!
So I shipped my Sekrit Santa gift on the 16th of December, and I have no idea if it has arrived yet. The recipient has not commented in this thread, although they appear to be around the board.
Is it appropriate for me to email them? I just want to know that the package arrived. If they didn't like any of what I sent, that's okay. I just would like to know it got there.
I think it is okay, Consuela.
yes, yes, it got here! I am writing the thank you note today! I swear!
(and what a wierd coincidence that I happened to check into this thread today. I usually don't. I must have felt the vibe)
Oh, I didn't want a thank you note, I just wanted to know it arrived! And YAY!
t is relieved
Deb, yay! I got the deathbombs! And they are great of course.
OK, if this beginning to the new year is anything to go, I may have rather more fun in 2005 than I did in 2004.
I stopped at Neiman Marcus and bought seven little ballotins of Godiva chocolate (for the film crew - if there are more than seven, I'm hosed) and three pretty rather larger wrapped chocs for David, Graham (the hair consultant who will be arriving for this Monday morning insanity at shortly past three on Monday morning). I have sat in a posh salon, having my hair and my pantry amenities discussed, as awed customers whispered and said "television!" "Evangelista - he was on television last night!"
This is funny as hell, and so far, I'm enjoying 2005.
Let's call it an omen.
