'The Message'

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2004: Well, I Wasn't Expecting That.

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2004? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We had a package delivered USPS on Christmas day. She said she was getting 4x time, for four hours. Seemed quite cheerful, and her Santa cap was jauntily cocked.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Just got my Secret Santa present. Some bath bombs, a mix CD, and a gorgeous knit scarf (and I was just thinking yesterday that I could use a scarf more interesting than the navy fleece one I was wearing). Thank you, Kat!

I would be too, if I was making 2 days pay for 4 hours. Hell, we don't eat dinner until 4, so I could have made a few bucks.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Heh. Connie, no crit from me of the USPS; all the ginger cake I sent this last batch got there quite quickly.

Speaking of which, I have not forgotten or reneged on my second-round baking - mostly cpbdb cookies - but I didn't want to do it while I was encrusted with hideous flu-like germs.

Librarian Warlord

I am borrowing a computer during my travels to say:

libkitty rocks!

I have a new autographed calendar from Juneau with pictures that make me ache for a little vacation time, and a new hand knit scarf that I've now worn for friends and relatives in three states.

Thanks so much!

Actually, I think being packed and shipped would kill a rhinovirus, but the thought is not of the appetizing.

Not. After the Kikwit outbreak - SEVEN WEEKS after the Kikwit outbrak - they found healthy Ebola virus that had apparently been shed by dying patients thriving on aluminum bredframes from the hospital.
