Goodbye and Good Riddance 2004: Well, I Wasn't Expecting That.

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2004? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey, stop bogarting the Deena Love!

Deena was definitely a life saver this year.

What is even happening?

Deena has so much love, I don't think it can be bogarted in any such way that will negatively affect the rest of us.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Deena is wonderful and indispensable.

And I just got a SailAweigh card - very clever and neat! ANd the name and address was entirely correct :-)

Also got a lovely card from the lovely heather and Mr. Heather complete with proof of their loveliness. A picture, that is.

It's been a good haul of holiay cards at the -t household this year, I may need to actually put them on display in some more coherent fashion than propping them up on the bookshelves.

Our wings are not tired.

I have a number of lovely Buffista cards which makes my holiday brighter, and fills me with guilt because I haven't sent any.

Okay, I'm basked. I'm glad you're all enjoying the cards. I haven't done a project like this in years and it was wonderful to stretch my creative muscles again. Also, a lot of work, but worth it. I'll accept any recriprocal offerings, but don't anyone feel like they HAVE to. 'Cause, Gaia knows, I'm not sure I'm going to do it again! A blanket "Season's Greetings" in thread may be all I'm up to next year. I'll wave a pinky at everyone and sip cosmos in the bathtub while reading Deb's next book.

Sail, I saw cards at the store today that were similar in style to the ones you did. They were 99 cents each. It made me feel somehow superior to know I received one from someone who loves me. Also made me think (for JUST a teeny moment) of buying one of those and sending it back to show you I could do it too. I figured you'd know I cheated, though.
