Man, that link? Anytime I feel cranky, I look at the Rose du Monde. That has to be the most beautiful stained glass window on earth.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2004: Well, I Wasn't Expecting That.
Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2004? Don't think we've forgotten about you.
Ginger, one of my best buddies has one of Mucha's ladies tattooed on her ankle and a third of the way up her leg. It's bloody gorgeous.
Kate, did the music I sent you arrive yet?
Oh! Yes, and I meant to mention it right away. Thank you!!! I listened to Wintergrace last night while wrapping CDs. It's really beautiful. I totally did the happy dance when I got them. Thanks!
Recommended for anyone who has burned out on all the shite stores keep playing: Loreena McKinnit, A Winter Cafe (pretty sure that's the title). Bone-chillingly beautiful Christmas covers.
Loreena McKennitt has two wintry albums, A Winter's Garden and... something else. I agree, they're both gorgeous. Sadly, I only had them on tape, and many of my tapes got lost in the maelstrom of moving, and I can't find either one anymore.
Is this the other one?
Winter Garden, not Winter Cafe. Check. It's that one, I believe. Her version of "God Rest Ye" raised all the nerves at the nape of my neck. Just exquisite.

I put that one on the xmas mix for Jilli. It seemed Jilli-esque.
