I could definitely see an uprising in my future. But it's like a birthday wish. If you tell, it won't come true.
Goodbye and Good Riddance 2004: Well, I Wasn't Expecting That.
Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2004? Don't think we've forgotten about you.
Perhaps you can leave the fomenting to Anabel, you know, in her quest for world domination.
She's well on her way, with her impressive crawling abilities and attempts to pull up!
The Creek rising couldn've been a topical joke at the time -- much like "if you don't do blah blah, then the terrorists have won" is today.

I mailed off music to Kate P. and Katefate yesterday. And my signed book to Heather. All went out overnight so they should be arriving today, if the Creek don't rise or the terrorists don't win.
Oh yeah, I was distracted by all the Creek talk -- I finally mailed out the gift to my Santee today. Apologies, blahblahtardycakes.
My gift arrived fro m my secret santa. I just haven't opened it - I had to wait until I sent out my gift to my giftee( I have to make rules - it is a Thing) and I want to open my gift - but when I will be able to admire it.
really, I didn't hit post twice
I finally sent my Secret Santa gift off today. The magical machine in the post office lobby that allows me to mail packages without waiting in line (how great is that?) told me it should be there by Thursday, I don't know if I believe it.
And I received my most excellent Secret santa gift from Lee days and days ago - sorry for making you worry! It made it here in good time and I love it! Lushy goodness - glitter, and dusting powder that I;d been wanting to try, and, look, more glitter! And penguins! And super dark chocolate, my favorite! Yay!
It came right when I was feeling kinda meh on the holiday season (and, needless to say, cheered me right up!) - this is the first Christmas I'm intentionally not celebrating, and it's weird. I've not celebrated before, because I was working or too broke or otherwise didn't feel like it, but this year I'm not celebrating because I Don't Celebrate Christmas and that's...strange. So I'm very glad that I decided to allow myself Buffista Xmassy fun!

Woohoo! David, you rock. I, on the other hand, suck, and will be picking up the last components of my Secret Santa gift tonight and mailing it out tomorrow. I had intended to get it out this past weekend but was thwarted by 1) nasty stomach bug 2) flat tire 3) snowstorm.

I love that machine! The screen told me it would get to my giftee on a Friday but I don't think she got it until the following Monday. You might want to cross your fingers.
