I get confused. I remember everything. I remember too much, and... some of it's made up, and... some of it can't be quantified, and... there's secrets.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2004: Well, I Wasn't Expecting That.

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2004? Don't think we've forgotten about you.

What is even happening?

Susan, aren't you part Creek?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Congratulations, Rio! I missed that you were fixing to tie the knot!

Hey, Congrats Rio!

Cool info on Creek rising versus creek rising. I love that phrase though hear it rarely.

I sent my santa package last week, so it should be arriving any day now (fingers crossed!)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm with Consuela in being worried. I sent mine last Monday, priority, and all the other stuff I sent has arrived.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Unfortunately, Priority comes with no guarantees. Two years ago I sent a my seekrit santa present by Priority mail from RI to NJ, a grand total of 200 miles, and it took 11 days to get there.

brillig

Priority is, unfortunately, just a fancy name for big First Class stuff. IE, it might go faster but not much more.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Last night there was a slip in my mailbox telling me that I have a package from Canada. I'm hoping this is my Sekrit Santa present. Anyhow, going to the post office this evening should be a trip. The local post office is almost like a social club, so it's kind of fun to go there.

Oh I know, but everything else I sent at the same time already got there, even stuff that had farther to go.

Also, patience is a four letter word this time of year.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh dear. I sent items FedEx, Priority Mail, and UPS this year. We'll see who wins. I still have to send stuff to New York. I'll pick the carrier in brown for my last moment stuff because he has yet to let me down.

I have received most of the items that I ordered for the kids. I see Amazon picked UPS for the last couple items that are shipping. (Seasons 1-5 of Simpsons! shipped today) So far it has gone well.

Sending fast~delivery~ma to all.
